2026 Visual Identity

Peterborough United introduced its new visual identity on June 1, 2026. The primary identity combines the redesigned club crest with the word “Posh” beneath it, making the club’s long-established nickname a more prominent part of its everyday branding. A secondary version uses the crest on its own where a more compact mark is needed.

The redesigned crest features a single forward-facing winged lion holding the keys of Peterborough. A heart appears within the handle of the key, linking the design to the club’s community identity and the historic Cor Unum, or “One Heart,” motto. These elements reinterpret symbols found in earlier Peterborough United badges rather than replacing the club’s connection with the city.

The wider identity also introduced the custom Posh Type typeface and a group of supporting identities based on the club’s nickname, motto, heritage, achievements and mascot. The 2026/27 home kit was launched with the new crest, bringing the updated identity onto the team’s playing shirts while Blue and White remain Peterborough United’s official club colors.
