What are Salford City's colors?
From the 2026/27 season, Salford City returned to orange as its primary home identity following a supporter vote. Orange had been associated with the club for decades before the move to red in 2014. The 2026/27 home kit restored the heritage color, with orange used across the shirt, shorts and socks alongside black detailing.
The club also introduced a new crest for 2026/27 as part of the updated identity. The circular orange-and-black badge features a lion holding a Salford rose, with additional design references connected to Salford.
Red, White and Black represented Salford City’s recent identity before the return to orange. The red era began with the club’s 2014 rebranding and remained the primary home look through the 2025/26 season. These colors remain part of Salford City’s recent visual history rather than its current primary home identity.
